Campbeltown Style Whisky

Dalaruan Archivist is a blend of malt whiskeys with a Maritim and lightly smoked character. Founded in 1825 by Charles Colville in the Campbeltown region, Dalaruan distillery was sold in an auction and closed its doors in 1925 due to recession. The Lost Distillery Company is dedicated to creating present-day expressions of legendary whiskeys that belonged to the craft of whiskey distilling during the 18th et 20th century. The Archivist range is made of blended malts hand bottled at 46 % without chill filtering nor colouring.

Appearance: Burnished copper.

Nose: Exotic and dried fruits, Manuka honey, campfire wood smoke, and pepper.

Palate: Rich and oily, indulgent salted vanilla fudge, dried fruits return and toasted almonds.

Finish: The dying embers of a fire linger, stem ginger in syrup adds to a deliciously long finish.
